SUMMARY:Out of Control – Accompanying Anger
DESCRIPTION:Professional Development for Educators, Parents, Yoga Teachers & Coaches\nOut of Control – Accompanying and (Co-)regulating Anger in Children (& Adolescents)\nKennst Du das? \nJust a moment ago, everything was fine. And suddenly, the situation explodes. \nYour child is screaming, crying, hitting, kicking, or biting. Perhaps they simply run away and are completely unreachable. You try to stay calm, speak kindly, want to help—and at the same time, you notice yourself becoming increasingly tense. \nWhat on earth should I do now?\nWhy can’t the child get out of this on their own?\nAnd why is this pushing me to my own limits right now?\nWe know these moments in everyday pedagogical life, too. A child is completely out of control and we stand there, searching for the right words and strategies, sometimes just wishing for an “off button.” \nTeenagers, too, can be so overwhelmed by their feelings that a rational conversation is no longer possible.\nBut what actually happens during a tantrum? Why can’t children simply calm themselves down? And why do they need a secure and stable adult by their side especially then? \nAnger is certainly a feeling that challenges us particularly strongly as parents, teachers, school assistants, yoga teachers, or coaches. Because when a child is “out of control,” we often reach our own limits as well. \nIn this specialist training, we dedicate ourselves to these questions, among others:\n\nWhat happens in the brain during a tantrum?\nWhy can’t children regulate themselves?\nWhat do children need when they are “out of control”?\nHow can we provide support and orientation without making the anger even greater?\nWhat do we need ourselves to remain calm, present, and confident in our actions in such situations?\n\nWe look at why anger is important, what might be behind it, and how we can support children and teenagers in developing self-regulatory skills step by step. \nIt’s not about always having the perfect method ready. Rather, it’s about understanding: What is happening right now—with the child and with me? \nYou will certainly experience many “aha” moments and afterwards be able to understand anger better and guide it more confidently.\nThe training is for everyone who lives or works with children:\nEducators, parents, (children’s) yoga teachers, teachers, physiotherapists, and all interested parties.\nAfter this training, you will have strategies for dealing with your own anger and for situations in which children and teenagers are overwhelmed by their anger.\nDenn Kinder lernen am Modell. And so, self-regulation always begins with us, too.\nIncl. Handout und Teilnahmebescheinigung\nDate: December 19, 2026, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM\nLocation: online-live via Zoom\nCost: €40 (if you have already completed a training course with me, you only pay €30)\n \n\n
