The period of adolescence is often not easy. Teenagers are somehow “in-between”. They are no longer children, but not yet adults. During puberty, changes occur on all levels: physiological, emotional, and neurological. They need to reorient themselves.

Questions like “Who am I?”, “What do I want to do later?” and “Who do I want to be?” occupy teens.

Yoga can be a helpful support here. Through physical exercises, teenagers experience their bodies as both powerful and flexible. Additionally, meditation and relaxation help them find peace and cope better with the challenges of everyday life.

25-hour Advanced Training: Yoga for Teenagers

The idea for this advanced training, which I have been teaching since 2018 and which was one of the first of its kind, emerged as early as 2017. The advanced training Yoga for Teenagers also constantly evolves, as I always adapt it to the specific needs of teenagers based on my practical experience.

In addition, the book of the same name was published in 2021. It enjoys great popularity and is now in its second revised edition.

What’s it about?

Adolescence is often not easy. Most teenagers don’t quite know where they belong, feeling somehow in-between. They ask themselves many questions, and a changing body and mind add to the difficulty. It’s a time that is not always easy for the teenagers themselves or for their environment.

But what exactly happens during puberty? And what does all this have to do with the restructuring brain? How can we safely and authentically guide teenagers? What is helpful for them during this time of upheaval and change?

Are you wondering how you can inspire teenagers for yoga and what you can give them to go through life resiliently and self-confidently?

Together we will embark on an exciting journey that will certainly also be an enrichment for you personally, because after all, we were all teenagers once and know that this time is sometimes not easy…

We will bridge the gap between childhood and adulthood and see what makes this age so special and how, through yoga, relaxation, and mindfulness, we can give teenagers something that helps them through this phase of life.

We will experience and develop yoga classes for teenagers and also look at what is helpful in everyday life, because we don’t always have time to go to the mat for an hour. What can I do if I’m nervous? Can’t fall asleep? What if my mind races too much? For all these challenges, we will collect ideas that we can give to teenagers for on-the-go use. Because ideally, our yoga integrates into our daily lives. You can expect a comprehensive collection of various topics from theory and practice, allowing you to start directly after this advanced training.

I share my knowledge from almost 30 years of working with children & teenagers with you and can provide you with extensive knowledge based on many practical examples.
