Love, Letting Go, and Lightness through Mindful Touch!

I‘m happy that you’re interested in Thai Children’s Yoga.

Yoga has been a part of my life for twenty-five years, and children’s yoga, in particular, is very close to my heart. So I followed my calling. Over time, many other trainings were added, but children’s yoga, and integrating it more into children’s daily lives, remains my passion! When Thai Yoga then came into my life, I knew this wonderful gift also had to be shared with children. That’s how I developed Thai Children’s Yoga at the beginning of 2017. In 2019, the accompanying book was also published by Meyer & Meyer Verlag.

Thai Children’s Yoga originated from Thai Yoga, Children’s Yoga, and elements of pedagogy and developmental psychology!

What is Thai Yoga?

Thai Yoga is a holistic method that touches body and soul. Knowledge from TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Ayurveda, and Yoga are brought together here. Through various pressure and stretching techniques, the entire body is worked on, joints are mobilized, and energy pathways as well as fascia tissue are stimulated. The receiver is gently (without their own effort) guided into various positions by the giver. I had the opportunity to learn Thai Yoga from Tobias Frank, and during my training as a Thai Yoga teacher, I immediately felt that Thai Yoga offers a wonderful opportunity for relaxation not only for adults.

Thai Children’s Yoga

Based on my experience as a children’s yoga teacher, pedagogue, and mother, I finally combined Thai Yoga with children’s yoga, and Thai Children’s Yoga was born. Thai Children’s Yoga is unique in the German-speaking world, and it is very close to my heart that it is now carried out into the world.
Touch is a basic need, and to do this selflessly and mindfully is an important part of Thai Yoga, especially for and with children!
Children are our future, and it is very close to my heart to contribute to them experiencing a world in which they love to live.
Sometimes I’m met with a smile when I say that I have a dream of making the world a little better, filling it with more love and mindfulness, so that we can focus again on the truly important things in life. The fancy car and the villa are certainly not the things that make us happy…
To give touch, trust, confidence, and love selflessly and mindfully is an essential part of this work.
Because who doesn’t appreciate an honest, kind touch, gesture, or a loving word?

The first “Thai Children’s Yoga” advanced training took place in 2017. Meanwhile, Thai Children’s Yoga is available nationwide in various studios.

Testimonials about Thai Children's Yoga

“Thai Yoga is not just physical touch, but hearts – the soul – that touch deeply.” (Lara B.-H., Children’s Yoga Teacher, Training Graduate)

“Keep this Energy, it’s wonderful” I heard at home, and it matched my feeling of having been deeply touched. Something in me was set into vibration, into flow… something very harmonious.” (Tina D., Training Graduate)

“We met 2.5 years ago during the Thai Yoga basic training. Since then, Thai Yoga has accompanied both of us and has become an indispensable part of our lives. Thank you, Tobi, for that! And I follow with the deepest appreciation and respect how you pursue your path. You inspire me greatly, are a role model for me, a companion, and a soulmate. You too have made it your mission to bring love and light and touch and lightness into the world. You confided in me at the end of the Children’s Thai Yoga training 6 months ago that you were a bit worried you wouldn’t be able to teach an “old hand” like me anything new. But your concern was unfounded. You have such a natural and heartfelt way of sharing your experiences and knowledge. And at the same time, you create such a warm atmosphere in your courses… The perfect blend of further education, wellness for body and soul, and exchange with like-minded people. Please keep up the good work.” (Dominique W., Yoga Teacher, Training Graduate)

“This wonderful training for teaching Thai Children’s Yoga made my soul glow. In the three days you warmly guided us through the fundamentals of Thai Yoga, it never felt like a mere training, but rather like we were learning to be in our bodies, to feel with our hands, and to sense with our hearts. That was a great gift that I always carry with me and can apply not only in children’s yoga classes, but simply in all areas of life. You showed that touch makes people happy, and that absolutely must begin with the youngest, because they are our future and can make interactions with each other a bit more loving. Thank you for that.” (Sabrina M., Yoga Teacher, Training Graduate)

“More or less, I came across your “Thai Children’s Yoga” advanced training by chance. But when I read articles about Thai Children’s Yoga in various magazines, the desire in me grew stronger and stronger to attend this advanced training. What awaited me then is indescribable. I had the privilege of experiencing three wonderful and, above all, relaxed days with wonderful people.
I am very grateful for this time and that I had the opportunity to get to know Thai Yoga.” (Nicole A., Children’s Yoga Teacher, Training Graduate)

“Empathetic, charismatic, competent, and very loving – Sandra is perfectly suited to bring Thai Children’s Yoga to the world!” (Silke S., Thai Yoga Teacher)

“The “Thai Children’s Yoga” training touched me emotionally on a very deep level and went straight to my heart. For me, Thai Children’s Yoga is what makes a children’s yoga class truly complete. To give unconditional, benevolent touches, to watch the children relax more and more, enjoy themselves, and learn to feel themselves fills me with great gratitude and joy.” (Antje S., Yoga Teacher, Training Graduate)
