Yoga and the vagus nerve

Does this sound familiar?
Our everyday life is usually fast-paced, and we often find it hard to relax.
It doesn’t have to be that way!
We can do a lot for ourselves, for example, by working with our nervous system.
But how exactly does our autonomic nervous system work, and what role does the vagus nerve play here? What does the polyvagal theory say about this?
In the meantime, there are many exciting findings that are a great enrichment for us, and not only in yoga.
Having a flexible nervous system increases heart rate variability, among other things, and contributes to our health.
But how does it work?
In this workshop, we will look at how we can activate the vagus nerve in and with yoga. A meaningful mix of theory and practice awaits you.
Including
- Asanas
- Pranayama

This workshop is aimed at yoga practitioners, yoga teachers and anyone interested.
Whether you have been practicing/teaching for a long time or are just starting out. Understanding our autonomic nervous system and the polyvagal theory is a great treasure trove of knowledge that greatly enriches our practice and our teaching.
In addition to a theoretical part, we will practice a lot so that you can try out your knowledge right away and easily implement it after the workshop !
