Yoga Nidra Coach for Children & Teens

Yoga Nidra is also known as the sleep of the yogis and is a wonderful way for children & teens to experience peace and relaxation.
Practicing Yoga Nidra regularly has a powerful effect on us. We learn to reduce stress, strengthen our resilience, and Yoga Nidra has a harmonizing effect on a physical, mental, and emotional level! All things that offer great support, especially for the challenges in childhood and adolescence.
In addition to the effect, structure, and guidance of Yoga Nidra, we will also deal with belief work. We will learn techniques from psychological coaching and counseling and combine them with Yoga Nidra. This training is not just about guiding and designing Yoga Nidra texts for the respective age groups, but also about topics such as:
- Belief work
- Savasana
- Breath observation & Pranayama
- Meditation
- Narrative Techniques
- ABC model
- Language and communication
- Dealing with stress
- Strengthening resilience
- Feelings & Needs
- Differences between children & teenagers
- Patanjali and Yoga Philosophy
- Self-awareness
Together we will look at the skills children and young people need in order to implement our offer profitably. You will also learn how to introduce Yoga Nidra, or in which steps you build up the whole thing.
You will also receive various versions of Yoga Nidra as a download for your own practice and a guided meditation.
The training comprises 50 hours (32 hours of attendance, 18 hours of homework and reflection).
At the end you will write a short reflection on your practical implementation and receive a coaching session with me. You will complete the training with the certificate “Yoga Nidra Coach for Children and Adolescents.”
Who is this training suitable for?
The training is suitable as an additional qualification for yoga teachers who work with children and young people, as well as for pedagogical specialists (educators, teachers, physiotherapists, coaches, therapists, etc.). Own yoga, relaxation and/or mindfulness practice is desired as a prerequisite.
